Suburban RST Performance Package Available in 2019

A Chevrolet Staple.

Did you know that the Chevrolet Suburban is the longest continuous-use nameplate in American automotive history? The Suburban name was first used in 1935 on a vehicle designed to be a family-friendly carry-all station wagon. While the Suburban’s purpose has never changed, its design and mechanics have evolved with time. Learn more about the Suburban RST Performance package that will be coming soon.

Coming Soon.

The Suburban is currently in its 11th generation and is getting an exciting new option for the 2019 model year. Later this summer, customers at Bill Walsh GM Superstore will be able to opt for the Suburban RST Performance Package. This package will add a 6.2-liter V8 under the hood to give the Suburban 420 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque. The engine will be paired with a new 10-speed automatic transmission.

To complete the performance feel, the package also includes a Magnetic Ride Control suspension along with numerous available performance upgrades such as six-piston Brembo brakes and a Performance Dual-Side Exit Borla exhaust system.

Top Notch Package.

“When you want to hustle, the Suburban RST with the Performance Package offers high levels of acceleration, braking, and road-holding grip,” said Eric Stanczak, chief engineer for Chevrolet full-size trucks. “When you want to relax, it is very refined, with exceptional ride comfort and interior quietness.”

Along with mechanical upgrades, the Suburban RST Performance model will also feature a sharp new look, with blacked-out and body-color details and 22-inch wheels.
